The ancient Greek word, Axiom, is the philosophic (and now mathematical) theory of truth. As “Axiom,” we strive to strengthen the junction between science and art, creating along the way something that is symbiotically whole. Whether it be prose, poetry, photography, digital art, painting, etc, we welcome any and all mediums that helps you express yourself and/or the environment around you through a scientific lens.
STEAM is the twining of the physical sciences and art (literary and visual).
Axiom Magazine is home to a team full of students passionate about the STEAM movement and fueled by creativity

Our Mission
Embrace and uplift the values of the STEAM movement: combining arts and STEM to create a new and accessible medium for scientific exploration.
Use non traditional mediums to further understand and express scientific concepts such as prose, poetry, visual art, and more.
Encourage the creativity of scientists, and we foster writers’ exploration into science, fostering a broader understanding of literature and authorship.
Aim to create a gateway for those intimidated by the sciences and introduce artists to the creative possibilities of STEM.
Seek to push the boundaries of what is considered creative writing and challenge the notion that scientific writing cannot be creative.
Strive to uplift and amplify marginalized voices including indigenous students, students of color, first-generation students, students with disabilities, low-income students, LGBT students, and others.
Axiom Magazine operates with the goal of creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive space within the arts and sciences.
